For the launch of AUSL’s second season, Compadre teamed up with ESPN to bring Legendary 2.0 to life — introducing two new teams with a promo built on momentum, hometown pride, and the next wave of softball.

WHERE THE VISION BEGAN

We used AI early in the process to help shape the campaign’s visual concept, bringing assets into Weavy and prompting it to generate initial compositions. This allowed us to quickly establish clear, defined directions before production, saving valuable time upfront.

Shot at ESPN Studio C, the production featured 12 AUSL athletes on a volumetric stage customized with team and league colors. A cyc, turntable platform, and softball gear created a simple, flexible setup that kept the focus on the athletes.

LEGENDARY SHOOT


The visual approach leaned into the energy of a dynamic sports magazine cover, using bold athlete poses, action crops, and dramatic angles to make every frame feel powerful, polished, and game-ready.
