STREAMING WITH STYLE


Roku brought us on to create a playful audio-visual identity for Howdy, its new ad-supported streaming platform. We built a flexible sonic and visual system that brings the brand’s charm to life across all touchpoints—openings, ads, promos, and more—helping launch a fresh, consumer-facing brand within the Roku ecosystem.

ANIMATED & AMPLIFIED


We designed a lively sonic logo and modular motion system reflecting Howdy’s playful, irreverent vibe while keeping the brand consistent. The toolkit—video IDs, custom sound, and flexible animations—made it easy to apply across channels, bringing the platform’s voice to life with fun rhythms and snappy visuals.

PLAYFUL SONIC IDENTITY


We designed the sonic branding to stand apart from Roku’s identity—playful, bouncy, and a touch unexpected to match Howdy’s irreverent tone. Working with a composer, we explored several sound variations before finalizing. The video IDs used a modular toolkit: snappy transitions, whimsical animation, and friendly typography.
