ESPN – Eckrich Sausage Tailgate Heaven Brand Campaign
WHAT TO EAT ON GAME DAY
It’s just a universal fact: You can’t have a tailgate without a good hot dog. We partnered with ESPN to work on a spot for Eckrich Smoked Sausage, a proud sponsor of ESPN talent Marty Smith and Laura Rutledge. We created a campaign that transports viewers to tailgate heaven and with mouth watering hot dogs to secure a good time watching your favorite teams.
ADDING ALL THE DETAILS
With the script setting the scene of a tailgate, we got to work putting together all the details for our shoot. This included curating Eckrich branded wardrobe for our talent, creating a list of every item needed for a perfect tailgate, and creating a shot list to ensure that the hot dogs and all food items that will be shot look perfect for the screen.
WE’RE HEADED TO HARTFORD
Our shoot took place at Rentschler Field at Pratt and Whitney Stadium (home of the UConn Huskies). We got exterior shots of the stadium, along with creating our tailgate outside in the parking lot. And we captured fun BTS as we set up for a day of fun.
DON'T FORGET THE VFX
During our post process, we had to bust out our VFX chops to create an Eckrich stadium complete with logo and branding, as well as add a few details to make tailgate heaven truly magical. We layered the Eckrich logo and colors on the stadium, as well as a water tank and a hot air balloon (can you believe it’s not real?)
We also delivered social and radio spots to be used across different platforms to reach audiences everywhere.
