30 HITS DIFFERENT
In 30 years the UFC has gone from a written-off pipe dream to a full blown phenomenon to a bona fide leader in the future of sport and entertainment. To properly show how far they’ve come and signify that they're just getting started, they turned to us to build them a logo and identity worthy of their historic 30th Anniversary.

LOGO AND TAGLINE EXPLORATIONS
Knowing the scope and impact of this momentous occasion, we left no stone unturned in our exploration of both logos and taglines before settling on our eventual winners.

CHANGING THE GAME SINCE 1993
Our bespoke key art introduced green into the UFC color palette – a color that not only is symbolic for 30th Anniversaries but that also speaks to the progress still to come. Meanwhile, the tagline serves as a testament to the brand’s place at the forefront of reshaping the sports and entertainment landscape for the last 30 years.

A LOGO TO BE RECKONED WITH
Our chosen logo featured a flexible design that could be utilized in multiple sizes and styles across the myriad assets needed throughout the life of the anniversary campaign. Borrowing elements from the iconic UFC octagon and a sleek, high-tech feel that served as a nod to their commitment to innovation, our selected logo proved to be a real knockout.

BUILDING THE WHOLE PACKAGE
Once our logo and tagline were established we moved onto building a full style guide and identity that could span the entirety of the campaign. This included use cases, guidelines, and bespoke key art that introduced green (the symbolic color for 30th Anniversaries) into the UFC color palette.

MAKING IMPRESSIONS FELT
With its dynamic and flexible design, the anniversary logo made a big impression across multiple platforms. Fitting perfectly on UFC 30th anniversary merch, upcoming fight posters, and stand alone on social media, the anniversary campaign has been well received by fans who are equally as excited to celebrate many years of great entertainment.
